DIY retailer Wickes has has made a milestone move in social media by launching its very own Facebook app.
According to Campaign Live Magazine, Wickes' Facebook app will serve as a digital portfolio for users to create, edit and view a range of products and unique designs, and then share with their friends or customers on Facebook or other social networking sites.
Wickes' appointed social media management group Jam back in March, and this headline-grabbing move is their first work for the retailer.
Keval Shah, Wickes digital marketing manager, said: "The app helps to express the real sense of pride homeowners and tradesmen get when successfully completing a project."
