The company is currently looking for a UX architect to join
its Creative Team. The team currently has 12 individuals within the creative
department, which consists of a variety of print and web designers and one UX
designer. The company has seen continued success over the last financial year
and as a result of this need more talented individuals to help with new
projects and to develop the team further.
The UX Architect position will be key to driving the team
forward. The company is hoping to find someone who has the ability to make an
impact on the rest of the team and whose expertise will filter through to the
more junior members having a real impact on the quality and approach to work
throughout the team.
The purpose of the UX Architect is to research, design and
develop websites, micro-sites, landing pages, emails and other digital
marketing assets focussing on business objectives and adherence to user
requirements and brand guidelines. As UX Architect, you will provide creative
leadership to internal and external clients to help develop brand stories,
content plans and visual assets. It will be your responsibility to manage the
design of response websites, mobile sites and micro-sites through pre-production
including the development of information architecture, wire framing,
prototyping and concept design through to development
Leadership qualities:
Ability to provide creative leadership to internal and
external clients
Ability to develop creative briefs and create technical
specifications
Management of client and team relationships through
exceptional communication skills
Technical skills:
Expert understanding of W3C standards for XHTML/HTML and CSS
Good understanding of HTML5 and CSS3
Expert understanding of PHP / MYSQL and JavaScript
frameworks
Expert knowledge of browser compatibility issues
Proven experience of coding browser compliant sites
Complete understanding of W3C accessibility standards
Complete portfolio of design and development examples
Experience of designing and developing for Smartphone’s and
tablet devices
Knowledge of Ajax
and JavaScript
