Marissa Mayer's upheaval of ageing search giant Yahoo! continues - this time with a glossy new logo design.

Following a raft of high-profile acquisitions and notorious changes to company policy, the re-marketing of Yahoo! post-Google continues with some new branding.

Dubbed "30 days of change", Yahoo will reveal a subtle tweak to their design every day until the official final launch on 4th of September.

While the company is rapidly evolving, our logo — the essence of our brand — should too," said Chief Marketing Officer Kathy Savitt on the Yahoo! blog.

"We’ve introduced beautiful new products that have changed the way you see the weather, read email, share photos, and follow your favourite sports teams. We’ve partnered with great artists including Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, John Legend, and Imagine Dragons to take Yahoo! On The Road. And of course, we are excited to come together with tumblr, and by extension, its incredible community of creators.

"The new logo will be a modern redesign that’s more reflective of our re-imagined design and new experiences. It’s our way of having some fun while honouring the legacy of our present logo."
