Digital agency Carat has been awarded with two major contracts in the form of American retailer Macy's and Kellogg's snack Pringles.
According to The Drum:
Nick Sperrin, president of global clients for Carat, said: “This appointment is testament to the strength of our relationship with Kellogg’s and the quality of the work we have been delivering for them on a consistent basis. We are looking forward to further building the partnership, continuing to find innovative ways to build business value through media.”
Aegis-owned Carat have also procured the massive contract of Cincinnati-based Macy's, with a monster deal involving $500m of media commerce. Carat will take over the planning and buying accounts, including a reported $1billion advertising budget.
"After a thorough review of its media broadcast and digital business, Macy's has selected Carat as its media-agency partner," said a Macy's spokeswoman. "Carat will be responsible for media planning and buying for Macy's broadcast and digital."

Pringles, which was acquired by Kellogg’s earlier this year, has announced the appointment of Carat to handle its $45m media planning and buying business across EMEA. Carat EMEA activity for Pringles, building on the agency’s partnership with Kellogg’s, will extend to UK, Italy, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Nordics, Spain, Italy, Russia, Israel, Middle East and France.
