Web developers! You are a curious bunch. Your terminology baffles. But we need your help.
Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP; HTML5 and CSS3; jQuery and Ruby-on-Rails; Python and .NET.
That's enough of that.
The digital industry revolves around you. What technologies you like, what languages you program, which projects excite you.
We pride ourselves on finding talented developers and matching them to great companies - whether big brands or niche start-ups.
But we at Chrysalis are never too old or stuck in our ways to learn.
We want to find new, innovative ways of attracting developers like you to exciting job vacancies. Salaries are going up as the digital industry begins to recognise to value of a quality coder.
Chrysalis don't believe that job boards, which were a key component of the dot-com boom, are the future. They probably aren't even the present.
We know that lots of you guys are on social media networks - Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook (sneaking around on App.net) - and hosting your projects and portfolios on GitHub and Google Code. We've seen you. We know you guys are talented, and fond of your community.
So we are asking you - how can we, recruiters, bridge the gap between the job-seeker and the employer?
What can we do to help you find new roles, placements and careers?
Don't all shout out at once.
