Bolton-based agency Custard has been formally placed in administration, the company announced today.
Originally set up in 2009 by Sam Allcock, the agency initially received funding from investor John Laithwaite before purchasing Kudos, a web development company, in 2012.
According to Huddled.co.uk, "the loss of some of the company’s biggest clients and a range of mishaps with account management were to blame."
Sadly, lay-offs in March 2013 have only paved the way for today's ultimate closure; as of today the custard web domain has been removed, and all employees have been made redundant.
Chrysalis have vacancies suitable for digital agency staff in the North-West here.
