Ahead of Wednesday's awards announcement at the international advertising festival, British agencies OMD and Maxus are leading the pack with two nominations each, according to Campaign Magazine.

Maxus is nominated for awards in "Best Use of Screens" as well as "Car and Automotive" categories for their Mercedes #YOUDRIVE campaign, which spanned across traditional spots in TV and print, but also a user-directed interactive experience via social media.





OMD's work with two brands has bagged them two nominations, Doritos in the "Audio" category and McDonald's "Best Use of Screens" for their London 2012 Olympics "We all make the Games" campaign. OMD and McDonald's received a Bronze award in 2012.



The UK has 17 Media Lions nominations in total, with other nominated agencies including Carat, MEC, MediaCom, Mindshare, Saatchi & Saatchi and more.
