The 37 hours per month British users spend online is more than any other European market, according to the comScore Digital Future in Focus report released today.

Digital agency ZenithOptimedia has named the UK as among the world's leading markets for digital adoption in their New Media Forecasts report for 2012.

Online retailer eBay has reported that more than three million UK users logged on to the site on Sunday 2 December via mobile devices, doubling the number of mobile visitors on the same Sunday of 2011.

The Internet Advertising Bureau's latest report into advertising expenditure has revealed a 12.6% rise in digital ad-spend totalling £2.6bn for the first six months of 2012, up £294m from £2.3bn in the previous year.
